Coverage for your health and your budget

Did you know not all Medicare Supplement plans are the same? It’s true! Here’s why we’re different:

Innovative Plan G — save with a lower premium when you take a deductible for the first three calendar years1

Option to switch to another plan once in the first two years — with no health questions2

We have preventive benefits built into our Innovative Plan G! You can also get access to the Silver&Fit® program with our Medicare Supplement insurance policies.3

Why is this coverage important?

Medicare supplement insurance helps cover expenses that Medicare doesn’t fully pay for, such as deductibles, co-payments and coinsurance. This additional coverage helps give you peace of mind knowing you have help paying for out-of-pocket expenses.

Medicare is a health insurance program provided by the federal government for:

  • People 65 or older
  • People under 65 with certain disabilities
  • People of any age with end-stage renal disease (permanent kidney failure requiring dialysis or a kidney transplant)

Since Medicare is federally run, eligibility guidelines are normally the same throughout the country.

Medicare pays for many health care services, but there are still costs you must pay on your own. To help lower your out-of-pocket expenses, consider Medicare Supplement insurance from us. Medicare is divided into four parts:

Part A — Hospital Insurance (Original Medicare)

  • Benefits help cover inpatient care in hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, hospice and medically necessary home health care
  • Most people do not pay a premium

Part B — Medical Insurance (Original Medicare)

  • Benefits help cover services provided by doctors and other health care providers, outpatient care, durable medical equipment, home health care and some preventive services
  • Most people pay the standard Medicare Part B premium

Part C — Medicare Advantage (MA)

  • Offers health plans run by Medicare-approved insurance companies
  • Enrollment is optional and replaces Original Medicare
  • If you go with an MA plan, you can’t get Medicare Supplement insurance

Part D — Prescription Drug Coverage

  • Benefits help pay for prescription drug costs
  • Enrollment is voluntary
  • Plans are available through private insurance companies approved by Medicare
  • Premiums and benefits vary by plan

Even if you have Medicare, there may be costs you must pay on your own. Medicare Supplement insurance (also called Medigap) from Physicians Select can help. This is private insurance you can buy to help pay bills Medicare may not cover.
