Here’s what you’ll get because you’re a Fursure customer

Conditions that were previously subject to pre-existing exclusions or limitations under your Fursure policy underwritten by StarStone National Insurance Company policy will be treated the same under your new Physicians Mutual Insurance Company® policy. Conditions that began after your Fursure policy effective date will not be subject to pre-existing exclusions under your new coverage with us.
Your coverage won’t be subject to any waiting periods for accidents, illnesses or orthopedic conditions.
At time of initial enrollment, a one-time enrollment fee will be charged with your policy purchase. This fee will be credited to your Physicians Mutual account on the next month’s billing saving you money! Note: The enrollment fee is not charged for MI residents.
Important: When enrolling, please understand that you’ll see our standard disclosures on pre-existing conditions limitations, waiting period, and will be charged an enrollment fee. As a Fursure customer, this special offer credits your account for the cost of the enrollment fee and administratively applies the handling of pre-existing conditions limitations and waiting period waivers to your coverage.

Customize Your Physicians Mutual Pet Insurance Plan

Via the link above, you can customize your plan during enrollment by choosing your:
  • Deductible — Select what works best for you and your budget
  • Reimbursement percentage — How much you’d like to receive in benefits after you’ve met your deductible
  • Annual policy limit — The amount of total coverage you’d like to have each policy year
  • Optional enhanced protection — Wellness benefits, Office Visit Fees coverage, and more
We encourage you to review all policy details and optional coverages carefully to choose the best fit for your pet’s needs.
Please be aware that the Fursure Insurance debit card will not be applicable for use with your new Physicians Mutual policy. With our plan you will pay for veterinary services up front and approved claims will be reimbursed directly to you.
Once you enroll in pet health insurance coverage with Physicians Mutual, you can manage your policy and claims online, including electronic claim reimbursement, at physiciansmutual.com/myaccount or by using the Physicians Mutual mobile app.
